What is Phenanthrene?
Phenanthrene is a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon containing three benzene rings, molecular formula C14H10. It exists in coal tar. The center of the three rings of the Philippines is not on a straight line, is the isomer of anthracene, which is white and shiny and flaky flaky crystals that can sublimate. Insoluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol, soluble in ether, glacial acetic acid, benzene, carbon tetrachloride and carbon disulfide, the solution has blue fluorescence.
